High Inergy
High Inergy was an Soul and rhythm and blues female vocal group that formed in 1977. Soon after signing with Motown Records, they scored a major hit with their debut single, "You Can't Turn Me Off (In the Middle of Turning Me On)." The song peaked at #2 on the R&B Singles chart and #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. High Inergy went on to have of nine R&B chart hits before the group disbanded in 1984. Of all the members, the only one who remained consistently active in music is Vernessa Mitchell.
