ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 322 AM CDT Tuesday, Rain and snowmelt is occurring, and will cause minor flooding. Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Grand Marais, Gunflint Lake, Two Harbors, Silver Bay, Grand Portage, Clear Lake, Lutsen, Tofte, Beaver Bay, Wolf Lake, Dumbbell Lake, George Manitou State Park, Forest Center, Sugar Loaf Cove, Temperance River State Park, Taconite Harbor, Isabella, Little Marais, Finland and Little Saganaga Lake. - Flood safety information can be found at

PRECAUTIONS
Turn around, don"t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Campers and hikers should avoid flooded trail crossings. If camping at a site along or near the banks of rivers or streams, move away from those locations and seek higher ground. Trails in hilly terrain can quickly become unstable during or shortly after heavy rainfall.
