Brighton Beach reopens today after years of restoration and construction. The city park is just on the edge of Duluth where the Scenic Highway begins. The city spent several years extending the Duluth Lakewalk through the park. It now joins downtown with the bike route along the scenic highway. There’s a new road, landscaping and memorial benches and amenities, plus a stronger shoreline to withstand extreme storms.
