    Northeastern Koochiching County in north central Minnesota... Northwestern St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota... * Until 945 PM CDT. * At 855 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles north of Big Falls to 7 miles southwest of Littlefork, moving northeast at 60 mph.
    HAZARD
    60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

    IMPACT
    Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
    SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR
    Littlefork around 900 PM CDT. Pelland around 910 PM CDT. International Falls, Kabetogama Lake, and Voyageurs National Park around 915 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include Rainy Lake West and Rainy Lake East.

Hugh is a native of Red Wing, MN. After time spent in Milwaukee and Minneapolis, he returned to the land of the Minnesota Twins and Red Wing Aces. Hugh got his start in radio hosting the high school radio show at KCUE/KWNG. He graduated from Ripon College and really enjoyed the cookies. He has worked in the entertainment business his entire life. He was a projectionist at the Red Wing Drive In Theater. After college he managed marketing for Landmark Theaters.
